The Hummingbird Spirit

This is the most detailed and challenging hummingbird I have made to date. It is a hollow form, its body made with a coil of sterling silver wire, which I fused and carved. The wings re made with 3 layers of silver sheet and wire, soldered, formed and textured. It hangs 4.5" in length.
The hand made silver chain hangs 28", designed to be adjustable, and it hooks at the front.
By far, one of a kind, and I'd call this a collector's piece.
